District Topper in JEE MAINS
Some news deserves to be framed. The newspaper clipping above, from the Panipat press, announces what we at the SSDJ Foundation had the privilege of watching up close: Rudra Saini — one of our KABiL scholars — secured the first position in the entire district in JEE Mains, with an outstanding 99.66 percentile.
A topper made at home
What makes Rudra's achievement remarkable is how he did it. A resident of Parshuram Colony, Panipat, and a student of Heritage Convent School, Rudra prepared for one of India's most competitive examinations entirely through self-study at home — no big-city coaching institute, no expensive test series — while simultaneously appearing for his Class 12 board examinations. As his father, Shri Ramesh Saini, told the newspaper, Rudra has been bright in his studies from the very beginning; discipline and consistency did the rest.
The KABiL behind the headline
Rudra joined the SSDJ family as a KABiL — a Keen, Ambitious, Bright, Identify, Learner — in 2024, when financial circumstances threatened to come between a talented student and his education. The Foundation has supported his studies since then, with fees paid directly to his institution, so that his only job was the one he clearly excels at: learning.
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn't. Rudra had the talent all along — we are honoured that the Foundation could stand behind him with the opportunity.
What comes next
A district topper's JEE Mains score opens the door to India's finest engineering institutions, and the Foundation will be walking alongside Rudra as he takes that next step. His story now joins those of our other scholars — proof of what Panipat's young people achieve when support meets determination.
Congratulations, Rudra. The whole SSDJ family is proud of you.
